The Braehead Shopping Centre opened
in 1999, at a cost of £285
million, with over 100 shops and
eateries. The shopping centre also has
the Braehead Arena
for Curling, Ice Hockey, Sporting
Events and Music Concerts.
The huge Xsite Braehead adventure
facility, opened next to the Braehead
Shopping Centre in 2006, with climbing,
bowling, lazers, gokarts, cinema and
more, making Braehead a popular day
out, with buses running in and out
every few minutes, from all over the
Greater Glasgow area.
The 77 First
Bus from Buchanan
Bus Station in Glasgow centre, runs
right to the Braehead Shopping
Centre.
