Crawick Multiverse is in southern Scotland,
29 miles north of Dumfries off the A76 road, 1
mile north of the town of Sanquhar.
This complex was built on the site of a
former open cast coal mine with it being
completed in June 2015. The creation represents
ideas from modern cosmology such as the Milky
Way and Andromeda galaxies. Postcode: DG4 6EG.

About 2,000 boulders were used to create the
Crawick Multiverse with the Sun Amphitheatre
holding up to 5,000 spectators.
The north-south line, or avenue, has about
300 boulders, the Northpoint allows 360 degree
panoramic views for about 20 miles.
Charles Jencks
born in Baltimore USA, designed the Multiverse
for the Duke of Buccleuch on his Queensberry
Estate. The Duke lives at Drumlanrig
Castle 11 miles south, also a top tourist
attraction.
Charles Jencks became famous in this area
after creating the Garden of
Cosmic Speculation at Portrack House 22 miles
south. This garden is normally only open to the
public one day per year.
