Tarbert
is the largest town on the Isle of Harris. The main Ferry
Route is between Stornoway
on the Isle of Lewis and Ullapool on the Scottish
mainland with ferries running 2 or 3
times a day, crossing time of around 2
hours 50 minutes. Price guide about
£22 per passenger and £120 per
car return. Tarbert is about 30 miles
south of Stornoway. Lewis and Harris are
attached by a narrow strip of land.

the north of Isle of Skye by crossing the
Skye Bridge and driving north to Uig. See

Harris is famed for its Atlantic
beaches such as Luskentyre
Beach. The remote Islands of Harris
and Lewis are regarded as having the best
SURFING
in Europe with Atlantic swells pounding
the coastline and scenic beaches. These
