The House of Bruar is top end shopping
opened in 1995 with a range of Children's,
Men's and Women's clothing in Tweed, Cashmere,
Leather, Sheepskin, Suede, Wool, Waxed Wool,
Down, Quilt and Waterproof, from over 40 top
Brand Names.
There is also a large veriety of Homeware,
with some Hand Made.
The Food Hall covers Beef, Lamb, Pork, Game,
Wine, Champaign, Cheese, Chocolate and
more.
The Fishing section has Rods, Reals,
Clothing, and Accessories.
The Gallery has a range of Paintings,
Ornaments, Ceramics, Silverware, and
Woodturning, many by Scottish Artists.
There is a Fish and Chip Shop by the car
park that also prepares Lobster. This shop also
serves Ice Cream and Chocolate.
The Hand Knitting Shop gives information on
Tartan, also with a Museum for Clan Donnachaidh.
From the House of Bruar car park, you can
take the 2 mile woodland walk out to the
Falls of Bruar,
one of the top walks in Scotland. It takes
about one hour to walk out to the Falls and
back.
