The Museum Building is not as old as it
looks, being built in Scottish Baronial Style
in 1989. The Building was constructed to look
like it had been there since the 1700s, to
serve as the Bishops Castle.
The Galleries have Displays, Artefacts and
Works of Art.
The Museum shows the importance of Religion
across the World, and through Time. The Venue,
aims to promote understanding between different
Faiths, and of None.
Next to the St Mungo Museum is Glasgow Cathedral, another popular
attraction in this area with FREE
Admission.
The Necropolis, with its Elaborate Grave
Stones, sitting high above the Cathedral, also
attracts many visitors.
The Provand's Lordship,
one of the oldest Houses in Glasgow, now a
Museum, is just across the road, to the left in
the image top, also with Free Admission.
The Cathedral House Hotel is just to the
right in the image top, ideal for meals and
drinks.
