The Nevis Range opened in 1989 on Aonach Mor
Mountain, 8th highest in Scotland at 4,006 feet
/ 1,221 m.
The Nevis Range is popular in Winter for
Skiing and Snowboarding, and for Walking,
Biking, and Paragliding in Summer. Some people
just go up to the Top Station Restaurant for
the views.
There are a large number of Ski Slopes from
Practice to Advanced.
You can take your Bike up on the Gondola,
also Hire a Bike at the Resort.
The UCI Fort William Downhill World Cup,
Biking, has been held here since 2002, normally
early June.
The Top Station is at 2,100 feet, so leaves
just under 2,000 feet to Hike to the Summit
where you get Amazing Views south to the 4,413
feet Ben
Nevis, highest mountain in Scotland, 1,345
metres.
In Winter, you need Spikes as is real Slippy
with Ice. Head south from the Top Station and
go up the South Ridge to the top for the Best
Views over Fort William and Ben Nevis. Large Image
You can also buy a Lift Pass that takes you
up to 3,900 feet, then just 100 feet higher to
go to the Summit, fairly level from the Top Ski
Lift out to the Summit.
On a clear day, the Views are Amazing.
From the top Ski Lift, you get about 1,800
feet of steep slopes back down to the Top

The Snowgoose Restaurant is popular for Fast
Food and Drinks, also with an Outdoor Area with
Great Views, well worth the trip up in the
Gondola just for the Restaurant and Views.
There is also a large Climb Zone next to the
huge car park at the Bottom Station.
