Twynholm Village is in Dumfries and Galloway
southwest Scotland, 47 miles east of Stranraer, 25
miles southwest of Dumfries, just off the main A75
road.
Twynholm has two Hotels, Old Church, and now
two top attractions - The Cocoa
Bean Company and David
Coulthard Museum under half of a mile
east.

The image top is of the War Memorial on the
east side of the Village.
The Star Hotel is on the
Main Street in the Village centre, ideal for
Drinks and Meals.
The Hayton Coulthard Haulage is at the
bottom of Kirk Brae, joint owned by the David
Coulthard family.
1700s - the first School is opened in the
Village at the top of Kirk Brae.
1818 - Twynholm Parish Church is completed
at the top of Kirk Brae and on Manse Road.
1911 - the new Primary School opened on the
site of the old school.
1973 - the A75 Bypass is completed reducing
Traffic through the Village.

2010 - The Cocoa Bean Company opened
its new large building half of a mile east,
with a large Indoor and Outdoor Kids Play, Cafe
/ Diner, and Chocolate Sales.
2015 - the David
Coulthard Museum moved from Twynholm to the
Cocoa Bean Factory with a number of Cars he
Drove and Professional Simulators.
The David Coulthard Museum seems to have
been closed since about 2019, not sure if it is
till there, or if it could be re-opened.
