Buchanan Galleries opened on the 31st March 1999, after costing about £250 million to build.

The Galleries are at the top of Buchanan Street, and at the east end of Sauchiehall Street, two of Glasgow's main shopping streets. The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is situated next door, as seen to the left in the image above.

Buchanan Galleries claim to have the best selection of shops in Glasgow, with about 80 shops all together, including a large number of designer wear, and exclusive stores.
