July 3rd week, 56 miles north of Glasgow, 14 miles
north of Callander. Balquhidder, Lochearnhead and
Strathyre Highland Games are held at Lochearnhead
village, Rob
Roy country.

Inveraray Castle a 10 minute walk from the Town

Glasgow. Claimed to be one of the top three or four
Highland games in the country, with approximately
10-15,000 visitors each year, Cancelled for 2024.

July 4th week, 26 miles northeast of Glasgow. Legend
states, they grew from the games and sports played by
Prince James's rebel soldiers camping in Airth in
1488, on their way to the battle of Sauchieburn.

Bridge of Allan Highland
Games
August 1st week, 32 miles north of Glasgow by
Stirling. One
of Scotland's top Highland Games attracting crowds of
between 10,000 and 15,000. The games field is between
Stirling Castle, The Ochil Hills and the Wallace
Monument.

largest and most spectacular Highland gatherings in
the world with over 3,500 competitors, many from
Scottish Communities from Canada, USA, Australia, New

providing a more relaxed atmosphere close to the end
