Mabie 7stanes Mountain Biking is in Dumfries & Galloway southwest Scotland, 69 miles east of Stranraer, 5 miles south of Dumfries, off the A710 road.

Camping & Touring Parks in area

This is a popular Mountain Bike Park with the Ghost Stone and a number of challenging sections.

The image top is of Mabie House Hotel next to the car park for the Mabie 7stanes Biking and Walking routes. The Hotel also has Camping Pods in its walled garden. The bar serves drinks, coffee, tea, and meals all day. Website.

The car park has lots of Information Boards with photos and maps of Mabie and the other Biking Parks in the area.

The image right is of the route up to the Ghost Stone, a scenic Walking or Biking route through trees and past burns.

The Ghost Stone is about a 20 minute Walk from the car park. One local stated this Stone may also have something to do with the Costume Museum that used to be in the area.
